About The Municipal Corporation
The Navsari Municipal Corporation (NMC) is the governing body responsible for the civic administration of Navsari city in Gujarat, India. Established in January 2025, it was formed by upgrading the Navsari municipality (Nagarpalika) as part of a state-wide initiative to enhance urban governance by creating nine new municipal corporations.
Jurisdiction and Structure
The NMC's jurisdiction encompasses the former Navsari municipality, the semi-urban town of Adipur, and six adjoining villages. This expansion aims to streamline governance and improve the delivery of civic services across the region.
